Networks

Peer to Peer & Client/Server, NT & Windows 2000

At PeeJay Mach Ltd. we appreciate that the significant cost of IT hardware is a barrier to small business development. We have particular expertise in small networks of up to 50 users.

For less than 5 users, we usually provide peer-to-peer networks, with one machine acting as a repository for much of the data. We recommend the following network types:

Network Design and Implementation

Whether you are planning on a Network for 5 users or 200 users, we have the expertise to do it right the first time.

There are four steps involved with every Network we design. This insures that we are meeting your needs, and provides a smooth, trouble-free Network. The list outlined below is just a sample network design implementation, and your network design may not involve all the steps.

FREE Initial Consultation

You will be contacted by one of our Network Consultants to discuss your network needs and goals. From this meeting, we will guide you in the best direction to take, and to see whether a network will be of benefit to you. With the information gathered from the initial meeting, we will design a preliminary network, and if possible, design multiple network scenarios.

Design Approval

We will present to you the preliminary designs and go over their features and explain how you will benefit from the various network designs. Once we have your approval on a specific design, you will be provided a Service Contract with specific dollar amount for the work to be performed. At this time, initial payment of 1/3 of the total cost will be received.

After this stage, all the equipment / parts will be ordered, built, configured, and tested in a mock-network similar to yours for Quality Assurance. If we need to implement Internet connectivity in your design, you will need to order the service through an ISP of your choice. Please make sure that the connection date falls prior to our final installation date.

Network Installation

All equipment and supporting parts will be delivered to your location, unpacked, and be located in close proximity to its final location. All equipment will be connected and tested. All computers will be tested for proper logon to the server, and for proper access to the shared resources. Once all the equipment is in place, and working to proper specification, second payment of 1/3 of the total cost will be received.

You are responsible for all data transfer from each PC to the server. We will NOT make any exceptions. This provision has been implemented to protect the privacy of your files.

Final Inspection and Training

We will do a final walk-through to make sure everything is in working order, and to explain where each of the equipment is located. If required, training will be provided in User Management, Sharing, and Security for up to Four Hours. Upon completion of the final inspection and training, last payment will be received.
